Heyhey, it’s #TicTacTuesday (except this time on a Friday)!! The 130th variety added to the Tic Tac collection: Cherry Love. I found these at Target just after Christmas (yep). I’ve been sitting on them to post on Valentine’s Day and here they are.
These are the large mega-packs that have 200 candies in each. The packaging was printed in two versions that are mirror images of each other, so when you put them together they form a heart (awwwww).
The flavor is pretty much your standard cherry and it’s like they didn’t even try on these. There are artificial flavors and colors, nothing natural listed in the ingredients. Some other flavors had used dried acerola cherry extract for flavor or beet juice powder for color. Not here. You want Tic Tac love on Valentine’s Day, it’s gonna be chemical.
Each candy has a cute little message printed on it, like Conversation Hearts candies. Sadly, there are only 3 different messages on these. This is probably because the candies are so tiny, there isn’t much room to fit many characters. Cute nonetheless.
If you like cherry (I don’t care much for it) and you like love (I do care much for it), then these might be the candies for you. Perhaps they should stick with chocolate on Valentine’s Day and come out with the Choco Tic Tacs like they sold in Germany for a short time (I’m still searching for them).
