Heyhey, it’s #TicTacTuesday!! The 119th variety added to the Tic Tac collection: Bunny Blast. It’s only February and Easter isn’t until April, but hey who’s counting. I found these at Target, of all places. When you have over 100 kinds of Tic Tacs, you don’t really expect to find too many new ones at retail stores.
Now, don’t be fooled, these aren’t Bunny BURST…they are Bunny BLAST. There’s a difference, duh. The previous variety of Bunny Burst (#20), that I added to the collection in 2013, was a mixture of Green Apple & Grape. This new mix, Bunny Blast, is Green Apple & Strawberry. There’s an Easter Bunny laughing it’s fluffy little butt off on the label, because he knows this mix is kinda crappy but you’re going to buy it anyways to put in your kids’ Easter baskets.
It’s truly a case of just mixing colors because they go along with a holiday and not because it’s actually a good mixture of flavors. Personally, while I love green apple, I’ve always felt the Tic Tac version of the flavor had a very artificial taste to it. I wonder if they’ve updated the formula because these do taste much better than before. The strawberry flavor is still one of my favorites. They did include dried green apple and dried strawberry in the ingredients, so that’s pretty cool. Together, the two flavors do not go well. So maybe just eat each flavor individually.
It’s Easter…in February…before it’s even Valentine’s Day…but it’s Easter! WOO!
