Heyhey, it’s #TicTacTuesday! The 114th variety added to the Tic Tac collection: Ice Pop Glacé. This pack, straight from Canada, comes with the label “Proud Sponsor of the Toronto Blue Jays.” I was just in Toronto last month and was even right outside the Rogers Centre, but did not encounter these (sadness). Of course, where did I find them…online! I guess the tie-in with the Blue Jays is that their colors are red/white/blue.
As far as I can remember, these taste exactly like the Summer Ice Pop variety I found in the US a couple years ago. It’s a combination of Cherry, Lime, and Berry. Pretty standard flavors by now, just combined here for a summer fruity blend. The lime tastes more like that terrible Tic Tac lemon flavor we’ve had previously. The ingredients even list “powdered lemon juice”, so I’m not sure why the packaging says lime on it. The idea is that the combination is reminiscent of the old bomb pops. I guess I can taste that. I don’t hate it, I don’t love it.
