The Tic Tac Hunter

Heyhey, it’s #TicTacTuesday! The 96th variety added to the Tic Tac collection at VOCOMOTION Studios: GUM (Licorice Mint). I know that a lot of people here in the US are not fans of black licorice but overseas, in Italy where these Tic Tacs are sold, it’s a very popular flavor.

The flavor of these is a very strong black licorice, which I personally love, and there isn’t that chemical sweetener bitterness that the Watermelon GUM had. My guess is that the licorice flavor is so powerful that it’s masking any other off-flavors. One interesting thing is that the candies are white but after chewing the gum for a couple minutes, I spit it out and was surprised to see that the gum is black. This is a very similar experience to chewing Black Jack gum.

I don’t think this flavor would do well in the US, and would be more of a “dare flavor” like chewing Black Jack gum (which isn’t really popular anyways). I like it, but again dislike all of the sweeteners used in the gum.
