Heyhey, it’s #TicTacTuesday (but this time on a Thursday)! The 138th variety added to the Tic Tac collection is SEEDS: Saunf. If you’re not familiar with saunf, it’s what Indians call fennel. These aren’t the first saunf Tic Tacs made in India, but they are the first in a newer line of “Seeds” flavours. The center of these feature crushed fennel seeds and they’re just delicious. If you’ve ever grabbed from a bowl of candied-coated fennel seeds when leaving an Indian restaurant, then you’re familiar with the taste.
Weighing in at only 7.2g a pack, these are fairly tiny compared to the standard 29g for US packs. The frosted plastic adds a really nice look. “Crushed seeds inside” is exclaimed on the front and the ingredients do show 6.7% crushed fennel seeds. I bought like 20 packs from someone in India and I’ve been going through them pretty quickly. I’m still trying to find the other Seeds flavour of Jeera and Black Salt, so if anyone has any connections in India, please let me know!
