Heyhey, it’s #TicTacTuesday! The 95th variety added to the Tic Tac collection at VOCOMOTION Studios: GUM (Watermelon). Italian consumers get to enjoy this new line of Tic Tac gum before we do here in the US (if ever). I still wish they had stuck with just xylitol as the sweetener or at least combination of just sugar alcohols and no artificial sweeteners. Spry gum is just xylitol and it’s excellent.
The taste is incredibly similar to the taste used in the candy watermelon Tic Tacs. The difference here, in this case I definitely detect the presence of the artificial sweeteners. I didn’t taste it at all in the Freshmint gum, but here I do and it’s pretty bitter. After the crunch of the candy coating fades, the chew is very soft and the flavor lasts a surprisingly long time. I do have to drop the rating on this flavor because of the nasty chemical/artificial taste I’m getting from the Sucralose & ace-K.
