Heyhey, it’s #TicTacTuesday! The 144th variety added to the Tic Tac collection: Chlorophylle Menthe Verte. This pack comes to us from France and is what we call “spearmint” in the US. The chlorophyll is what they’re using for natural the green coloring, in the form of spirulina & curcumin (turmeric), and it’s generally thought that chlorophyll can be used to freshen or neutralize bad breath.
The Spearmint Tic Tac flavor hasn’t been available in the US for a long time and it’s sort of come and gone over the years. From what I recall, these taste basically the same as regular spearmint, but have the added benefit of the chlorophyll and no artificial coloring. It does have a sharper mint taste than something like wintergreen and a good lingering aftertaste. Tastes fresh!
The packs feel old-school to me, in the smaller 18g container and nothing particularly flashy about the labeling. These are a really nice refresher that I could see eating all the time, if they were so hard to get here in the US, that is.
