The Tic Tac Hunter

Heyhey, it’s #TicTacTuesday!! The 149th variety added to the Tic Tac collection: Citrus Mix. This pack comes to us from Lithuania…I think. The pack is a bit confusing. The back label lists two sets of ingredients, one labeled “LV” for Latvia and one labeled “LT” for Lithuania. It’s not just that the two lists are in different languages, they’re actually different ingredients!

The Latvian version says these are candies with yuzu fruit, tangerine, lemon, and lemon-lime flavors. The ingredients include: coloring agents (curcumin and beta-carotene), powdered tangerine juice, powered lemon juice, powdered lime juice, powdered yuzu fruit juice, and spirulina concentrate.

The Lithuanian version says these are fragrant mandarin, tangerine, lemon, and lime flavored candies. The ingredients include: coloring agents (curcumin and beta-carotene), mandarin juice powder, lemon juice powder, lime juice powder, flavored mandarin juice powder [what??], and lingonberry concentrate.

The person who sold me the pack shipped it from Lithuania. So I think I didn’t get any of that yuzu but I did get that random “flavored mandarin” and also some lingonberry? I think since there are two different “orange” colors, and there’s a green (for lime), then I do indeed have the Lithuanian version.

All of the flavors do taste good; they’re very bright and yummy. It’s pretty much just a grab-bag of citrus, and I’m okay with that. These are still very tasty and very happy. That’s all that matters.
